SAFETY POLICY

Safety is our first priority and excellence as a source of competitive advantage in all our business undertaking activities. Our primary safety objective is the proactive management of identifiable hazards and their associated risks with the intent to eliminate their potential for affecting safety, causing personnel injury, and damage to the environment or property resulting from accidents and incidents to a point that is as low as reasonably practicable.

In order to achieve the highest levels of safety standards and performance, the senior management is committed to:

  • Ensure that Operations in all locations are conducted in accordance with conditions and restrictions of the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and in compliance with applicable legal requirements, regulations and standards.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy and sustainable working environment wherever we operate for customers, partners, personnel or contractors by developing a process of safety risk and hazards management associated with our Industry through the implementation of a Safety Management System.
  • Ensure that all staff is provided with adequate and appropriate safety awareness, training, competency, provision of necessary resources and ensures that sufficient skilled and trained personnel are available to implement this safety strategy and policy.
  • Develop a reporting culture where all personnel are involved. A “Just Culture”, which recognizes Human Factors and with a Non-Punitive Policy forms the framework around which the Safety Management System is built. Unless, of course, such errors result from illegal activity, willful misconduct or violations of standard operating procedures, policies or regulations.
  • Clearly define the accountabilities, responsibilities and equal opportunity to participate in the development and delivery of safety standards and procedures starting from CEO as an Accountable Executive and so on.
  • Establish and continually improve our safety performance level using a measured indicator against realistic objectives and/or targets through management reviews and ensures that everyone understands and accepts that goal.
  • Evaluate and review Safety Policy at least once every two years as a part of management review process to assure it remains relevant and appropriate to the scope and size of the organization.

This Safety Policy reflects the commitment to a culture of operational safety and issued under the authority of the highest level of management in the organization. It is communicated and made visible throughout the organization and ensures management systems are in place to keep customers, partners, personnel or contractors focused to implement this policy.

QUALITY POLICY

The Quality Management System and Quality Assurance Program are intended to provide the flying public, the CAAT and the company with the articles mentioned below:

  1. The company is fully committed to being the leading provider of air transportation. A primary goal of the company to achieve the highest standards of quality in all department without compromise. Our objective is to continually improve our company performance, while offering our customers safe air transportation, cost effective and professional service. Quality performance is one of the cornerstones of our company culture, and is considered a personal responsibility of all employees. To maintain quality performance of all departments at the highest level, the following aims are pursued:
    1. To fulfill or exceed customer needs and expectations by delivering a quality product and service in consistent and timely manner;
    2. To cultivate and maintain the commitment to continual improvement and communicate our goals and objectives to every employee;
    3. To promote a working environment where training and tools are provided for all work to proceed in a safe and efficient fashion;
    4. To furnish a system of policies which are periodically reviewed to ensure the ability of all groups to perform their work effectively.
  2. The company business plans include measurable Safety, Security and Quality targets so that everyone who performs work for the company is responsible to help achieve these targets.
  3. The company’s Quality Assurance Program is independent and ongoing process designed to identify potential problem areas. It shall also advise and follow remedial actions.
  4. The company management is fully transparent, enabling easy data transfer between departments and to/from other companies and authorities. Its principle is to reach always to the best knowledge.
  5. The company aims to strengthen its leadership in the air transport business in Thailand.
AVIATION SECURITY POLICY

Operating a safe and secure airline is the core of the NewGen Airways values. The aim of our Aviation Security Policy is to protect customers, partners, stakeholders, employees and businesses from any threats and risks to ensure compliance with national and international obligations.

The company is to be aware that there is a need to understand the implications of “responsibility” and accountability for all aspects of aviation security within NewGen Airways.

All airline employees and in particular security personnel and front line staff have the responsibility to make themselves familiar with the contents of the Security Programme and to ensure that members of staff of the airline or contracted agencies whose duties involve aspects of aviation security are appropriately trained to perform their duties efficiently and consistently.

Any breach in security will affect our reputation, customer confidence, staff morale and ultimately, our profitability. Applying high security standards in our all-operating areas, are therefore in our best interest. The intention of the NewGen Airways is to grow significantly over the coming years internationally and that growth will only be sustained if every effort is made to ensure the airline operation is safe and secure.

This policy is focused primarily on maintaining that the NewGen Airways Aviation Security Programme is always current. All staff are to be aware of significant challenge considering the evolving nature of the threat. This Aviation Security Policy reflects the commitment to a culture of operational security and is issued under the authority of the highest level of management in the organization.

NON-PUNITIVE POLICY

A proactive Safety Management System consists of research, report, analysis, action or recommendation, monitoring and feedback. Reporting of error, hazard, incidents, and accidents is a crucial element of our Safety Culture. All personnel must feel confident that they can disclose any such information without fear of retribution. NewGen Airways is committed to establish a NON-PUNITIVE or BLAME FREE reporting system.

The system is designed to facilitate and encourage company personnel including the contractor’s employees, customers and other stakeholders to report any error or hazard that may lead to incidents or accidents. If you see or witness an error or hazard that could result in aircraft, personnel, system or equipment incidents or accidents, please submit your report immediately. All reports will be kept confidential, promptly analyzed for further action and, when necessary will be brought up for management review. The information leading to the identity of any individuals who report an error under this policy is never disclosed unless agreed by the individuals concerned or required by law.

The Non-Punitive Policy will assure employees that reporting unpremeditated or inadvertent errors does not result in disciplinary or punitive action being taken against the reporter or other individuals involved. This policy does not imply that NewGen Airways will tolerate illegal activity or willful misconduct or violations of company standard operating procedures, policies or regulations. Management believes this system will develop and foster a culture of mutual trust, in which we adopt a team approach to resolve problems and prevent recurrences. This is NewGen Airways’ “JUST CULTURE”.
